Qur’anic Universal Audio provides shared recitation metadata and word- and letter-level timestamps for Qur’an apps, tools, and research. Its web interface visualizes alignments and lets contributors review and correct failed segments, missing words, low-confidence matches, and boundary errors.
The project aims to reduce duplicated work across Qur’an applications by making verified audio timing and reciter metadata reusable. Its code, releases, and generated timestamp data are publicly available.
